The paleotraining masterclass will take place at the sports centre of the Princesa Yaiza*****L Suite Hotel Resort on 14 June.
Paleo is a novel physical training and nutrition regime based on mimicking the way of life of our ancestors through training methods that imitate their daily activities geared to hinting and survival. Likewise, the nutritional plan seeks to recuperate the diet of primitive man; with a greater intake of vegetables, fruit, meat and fish, and the total absence of sugars and processed foods.
The session will begin at 10.15am. Firstly, Airam Fernandez and Jorge Blasco, both expert trainers, will deliver an outdoor masterclass centring on the different movements and routines of paleotraining. These exercises are based on our basic mechanical functions as a species: jumping, lifting, dragging, turning, throwing, walking, climbing, crawling, sitting, balancing, dropping to the ground and getting up, scaling, carrying and moving.
At 1pm, after the masterclass, participants will be offered the option of a delicious brunch especially designed by the hotel’s chefs, following paleotraining guidelines. Afterwards, those who wish will be able to use the pool area for relaxing or a refreshing dip.
In addition, participants can bring someone along for brunch. During the class, accompanying adults can use the pool. Click here for prices and times.
