The Princesa Yaiza Suite Hotel & Resort has raised a record €7,000 with Be Brave & Run, its Christmas charity run, which will be donated to three of the island’s charities: Creciendo Yaiza, Asociación Tinguafaya, and ALANEM.
Nearly 800 people participated in 6th edition of the charity run, held yesterday, thus showing their generosity and support for this cause for which the Princesa Yaiza, its management, and employees work every year.
The winners in the Be Brave & Run adult category, who received different awards from the hotel, were as follows:
Men:
- José Carlos Hernández.
- Tinguaro Quintero.
- Oscar Stapleton.
Women:
- Emma Bilham.
- Gloria Cuellar.
- Mónica Fiedler.
There was also a specially designed run for children and the members of the charities receiving the donations.
As in previous years, Yaiza Town Council lent its full support to this initiative, without which it would have been impossible.
Furthermore, a “charity mile” – a walk along the promenade of Playa Blanca – has been organized by the hotel on 31 December. All funds raised will be donated to the three aforementioned charities.
