As a result of recent negotiations, 90% of Prague Convention Bureau’s member hotels offer free Wi-Fi internet for conference attendees to a certain extent.
Prague Convention Bureau now guarantees event organizers free Wi-Fi internet access at most Prague hotels and venues that are members of Prague Convention Bureau.
In a recent survey conducted by Prague Convention Bureau, 50% of respondents mentioned free Wi-Fi for delegates as very important; international associations even went as far as saying that it was the most important must-have. On the basis of findings, Prague Convention Bureau opened negotiations with its members, so as to convince them of the need of offering free Wi-Fi in Prague.
As a result of the negotiations, 90% of Prague Convention Bureau’s member hotels now offer conference attendees free Wi-Fi internet to a certain extent; some of them provide free Wi-Fi in the entire hotel, including guest rooms, while others at least provide it in function rooms, at reception, in the lobby bar or restaurants.
Venues usually offer basic Wi-Fi access; if more bandwidth is needed, there is usually a charge.
This move is aimed at boosting the congress tourism industry and meeting clients’ needs. As of this week, clients can find Prague venues and hotels offering free Wi-Fi by looking for the special logo under each member’s profile on the PCB website.
