PowerVote, the interactive audience polling system specialists, have recently opened a branch in Mexico City, the first phase of the company's Central American expansion plans.
The company started to operate last October at the incubator of the Franco-Mexican Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Since then, PowerVote has worked for Pemex, Telcel, Janssen Cilag, Wolters Kluwer, Ferring, and the Human Rights Commission of Mexico D.F., among other companies and organizations.
In the case of Mexican Petroleum (PEMEX), PowerVote supplied the keypads for the company's annual engineers' convention. At the event, the professionals of PEMEX met to discuss their work experiences and daily problems.
The PowerVote system was also used by the telecommunications company Telcel in a training session held during the company's annual meetings, which was attended by 5,000 people.
Thanks to PowerVote's keypads, the Human Rights Commission of Mexico D.F. polled its 500 employees about work conditions, with an eye to improving them. The commission plans to repeat the survey during the next six months.
PowerVote is a French company with offices in Spain, England, Germany, Brazil, and Mexico.
