PortAventura Convention Centre was chosen as the venue for the 2015 edition of the "Business Night", the province of Tarragona’s business event par excellence. The event, organized by CEPTA, featured a ceremony at which the association presented its awards (Repsol receiving the highest accolade), along with those presented by Salou Town Council.
During the event, the 2014 CEPTA awards were presented, with Repsol picking up the highest accolade. This last edition of the ceremony included three new awards in the following categories: Social Economy, Collaborative Economy, and Business Activity Promotion, in recognition of the year’s most outstanding companies and associations.
A number of relevant personalities, including Joaquim Gay de Montella, president of National Employment Promotion, and Antoni Brufau, president of Repsol, attended the event held at PortAventura’s convention centre and presided by J.Antoni Belmonte, CEO of CEPTA, and Pere Granados, mayor of Salou.
Times of leadership
Furthermore, the event had a strong academic nature focusing on the leadership concept. Hence, during the second part of the "Business Night" the economist Emili Duro, who works for some of the country’s top corporations as a consultant and coach, and has over 25 years of experience in the field, delivered a keynote. Following this, there was a roundtable discussion, moderated by the journalist Nuria Sole, featuring the participation of Fernando Aldecoa, director general of operations and finance at PortAventura, and Berta Cabre, president of the Costa Dorada Camping Site Association.
After the award ceremony, the attendees attended a cocktail party held at the facilities of PortAventura.
