PortAventura Business & Events invited a group of Spain’s leading executives to a networking event during which they were treated to concert performed by Antonio Orozco.

On 12 August, PortAventura Business & Events organized and staged a networking event in a unique setting: the Cap Roig Music Festival. Held for the last 10 years in the Botanical Gardens of Celella de Palafrugell, this internationally renowned festival features top national and international stars, including Bryan Adams, Elton John, and Barbara Hendricks, among others. The festival’s outdoor stage, accommodating 2,500 people, combines music, gastronomy and nature to create an unforgettable experience.

Laura Valdeolivas, director of PortAventura Convention Centre, and Victoria Galvan, head of marketing, accompanied the guests – executives, MICE industry and general press reporters, and the representatives of the area’s most prominent institutions – throughout the event; an ideal formula, with a typical Mediterranean touch, so as to familiarize the guests with the services of the convention centre and the corporate event division of PortAventura.

In a glamorous setting, the guests were served food and drinks in the cloister of the gardens, after which they attended the concert given by Antonio Orozco, one of Spain’s most popular singers, who got everyone dancing to the rhythm of "Dos Orillas", his new record. After the concert, the guests were served dinner, prepared by the restaurant Via Veneto, in the cloister’s library, where they had the chance to meet the singer. This was the moment chosen by Valdeolivas to thank him for his marvellous performance with a weekend stay so as to allow him to get to know firsthand PortAventura Park and Convention Centre.

In short, a unique event in an informal summer setting where the guests, all from the MICE industry, had the chance to network and share experiences.
