For any international group visiting Barcelona for a congress, conference or event, local folklore is always of special interest. Proof of this is the gala dinner that Palacio del Flamenco hosted for 110 employees of an Indonesian sweet manufacturer, organized by g-2, with two exclusive flamenco performances. Likewise, the theatre was recently chosen for an event for 220 employees of an American pharmaceutical company, who also were treated to two exclusive flamenco shows and a splendid dinner.
Previously a well-known theatre, Palacio del Flamenco was reopened in 2006 as a theatre-restaurant. It is currently the largest flamenco venue in Barcelona, seating 380 incomplete comfort.
There are three different shows a day – Flamenco y Óle, El Gitano Bajanó y Pasión Flamenca – each lasting one hour, performed by a group of highly talented artistes, including singers, dancers, guitarists and musicians. In addition, each performance is accompanied by a dinner, with eight menus and tapas to choose from, all prepared with top quality ingredients.
Besides the auditorium-banqueting hall, the venue also features a lobby where all types of events can be organized, as well as private and group flamenco classes.
