Providing meeting professionals with insight knowledge and trends.

Pacific World, the integrated global DMC and Event Management organization, has developed a unique destination index, providing corporate, association and agency planners with an advanced indicator of destination popularity for international meetings, incentives and events.

Hervé Joseph-Antoine, global managing director of Pacific World, commented: "The objective with our new initiative is to provide meeting professionals from all sectors and industries with insight knowledge, which will support them on a daily basis. Whether they are looking for key cities or new emerging destinations for their next conference, congress or incentive event, or would purely like to stay informed and gain fresh ideas, the index delivers all of this in form of a monthly newsletter provided."

The uniqueness about Pacific World’s index is that it offers information from another perspective, from a destination management company (DMC) point of view. The index is based on over 5,000 international enquiries received worldwide, actual meeting and event results and highly valuable feedback from attending delegates from around the globe. Frequent research allows Pacific World to identify special interests in geographical areas, type of events, meeting activities and themes as well as attendee requirements and regional developments, in a very early stage.

The first index has just been launched this month and indicated the following top destinations:
