The hotel complex, located in Calpa, hosted a charity gala dinner in one of its award-winning function rooms, attended by well-known travel agents, whose takings will be donated to an NGO working with 3,300 children from different Latin American countries.
The AR Diamante Beach organized its 2015 charity gala dinner for travel agents, where guests were served a stand-up dinner with accommodation and a relaxing session at the property’s exclusive spa.
The funds raised at the dinner and the those donated by the AR Diamante Beach (double the amount) were handed to Xavier Adsara Grau, the director of NPH Foundation Spain in the form of cheque for €11,550.
On this occasion, the charity project receiving the AR Diamante Beach’s donation is the Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos, an organization that accommodates and looks after abandoned children in Latin America.
The funds raised will be used to help to cover the costs of medicines for the foster home’s medical centre in the Dominican Republic, where 231 children live. With a value of approximately €10,000, the funds raised will cover the cost of one year’s worth of medicines.
The dinner was held at the Leonardo da Vinci function room, a marvelous venue that made the evening very special. This function room, along with the rest of the hotel’s meeting facilities, has recently received a World Travel Award.
This has been the first time that this prestigious hotel has organized a charity dinner, and the results have been more than satisfactory. According to Ascolese, CEO of AR Hotels & Resorts, “the organizers of Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos, a foundation with which we have collaborated on a number of occasions, asked us to help in a specific project and we saw the best way of doing so, sharing the challenge with our team and out best clients.”
This new initiative fits perfectly with the philosophy defining the AR Diamante Beach, above all the property’s slogan: “We are different, we put out heart into it.”
