OuiSellyou to market Rural Meeting venues

Rural Meeting has reached an agreement with OuiSellyou to market events at its rural venues and to handle the brand’s business representation.



Rural Meeting, a brand offering rural venues for holding corporate and private events, has just signed an agreement with OuiSellyou, a specialist in marketing event venues in the MICE industry.



With this agreement, Rural Meeting intends to boost the number of events booked at its associate venues, while launching its expansion to the rest of Spain. With around 30 members, Rural Meeting was created in 2010 in Catalonia, where it has since consolidated its presence. The idea behind the brand’s expansion is to incorporate, slowly but surely, new venues located in the rest of Spain.



Since being launched, Rural Meeting has been committed to continuously improving the professionalization of its members so as to be able to compete in the business tourism market, in the small and medium-sized unique country venue niche, all of which involves a clear differentiation with respect to other types of offerings. This commitment has been strengthened by the marketing agreement signed with OuiSellyou, a specialist portal launched in 2009 dedicated to representing hotels, conference centres, resorts and unique venues.



Since being launched, OuiSellyou has always had a special focus on unique corporate event and business tourism venues in natural settings and with their own product. According to Sonia Serracarbassa, director of the Catalonia Convention Bureau, this niche, although "still in the development stage, also shows a clear upward trend." Along these lines, it is worth mentioning that the Tourism Marketing Plan of Catalonia has put special emphasis on developing the "different meeting" concept, where Rural Meeting has a lot to offer.
