With building work on the hotel of the Gravalos health farm (La Rioja Baja) entering its final phase, the property is expected to open for business in 2010, once work on the spa area has been completed.
With a total cost of 8.7 million EUR, the Gravalos health farm will open to the public in 2010, once work on the spa centre has been completed.
This new health farm in La Rioja Baja – which, with Arnedillo and La Albotea de Cervera on the River Alhama, currently under construction, will bring the number of health farms in the region to three – will include a three-star hotel, work on which has practically been completed, with 78 guest rooms (67 doubles, nine singles and two rooms adapted to needs of guests with mobility problems), lounge, bar-cafeteria, terrace, dinning room, other facilities and services.
Covering an area of 1,800m2, the spa centre will have three areas, including collective and private treatment rooms.
