The Moroccan Travel Market will be holding the first edition of its exhibition in Marrakech from 17-20 January 2008. Organised by International Fairs & Events, the Red City and Morocco’s first professional travel exhibition will attract trade professionals from home and abroad.
The Moroccan Travel Market, which is being organized by International Fairs & Events, is working towards providing the Red City and Morocco with its first professional tourism exhibition. This outstanding event, the first of its kind in Africa, will fill a gap, since it is held at the same time of year when summer brochures are being published and advertising campaigns are in full swing. It will also place Moroccan professionals in direct contact with their international counterparts.
This 1st edition of the Moroccan Travel Market will attract national and international exhibitors, including some of industry’s major players: institutions, hotels, travel agencies, airline companies, investors, banks, tour operators, tourism offices and various niche operators. Visitors are expected from all over the world, including trade professionals from Europe, South Africa, Asia and America.
The exhibition is consistent with the current market dynamics in Morocco, and will hopefully contribute to achieving the goal of attracting 10 million visitors a year by 2010.
