The Canaries Congress Centre – Alfredo Kraus Auditorium will again be hosting a number of important national medical events.
The first of these events, the 48th National Congress of the Spanish Society for Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine, will be held at the centre, located in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, from 14-17 June.
Organized under the slogan “Increasing the Decision-making Capacity of Rehabilitation Doctors”, the event will be attended by 600 professionals, with a programme of 10 training courses, 10 workshops, two symposia, and approximately 150 communications and 500 posters. The official keynotes, addressing matters that were regarded as of interest by the assembly (osteoporosis, pelvic floor anatomy, and degenerative osteoarthritis), will all share a decidedly interdisciplinary and updated approach.
Other medical events scheduled to be held at the Canaries Congress Centre – Alfredo Kraus Auditorium include, among others, the 52nd National Meeting of the Spanish Society for Haematology and Haemotherapy (SETH), and the 21st Meeting of the Infectious Disease Work Group of the Spanish Society for Intensive Medicine.
Over the next few months, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will be hosting approximately 1,700 medical specialists, who will meet during several days to address, discuss, present and analyze pathologies, illnesses, advances and treatments in an educational programme, roundtables, symposia and conferences given by prestigious keynote speakers from Spain and abroad (USA, Italy, United Kingdom, Germany, Greece and Argentina).
