More than 800 kilos of non-perishable foods were collected by around 100 people.

On 8 January, on the occasion of the annual convention of a prestigious Japanese laboratory with offices in Spain, Es.cultura had the honour of giving the delegates a taste of the culture of Seville, and the way of life of the city’s inhabitants, in an original and participatory way.

On the day the group arrived, and as a creative and experiential dinner option, the delegates were treated to one of Es.Cultura’s most popular activities, its famous "Tapa Tour". The tour also allowed the delegates to discover the city’s historical centre in a fun way, enjoying the atmosphere of its bars and eateries while savouring different tapas, one of Spain’s most deeply-rooted traditions.

The next day featured a team building activity: from the many options open to them, the group finally chose an outreach activity, the new "Mission Kilo". In this CSR-focused gymkhana, the participants had to overcome a series of challenges related both to charity and Seville culture, for the sole purpose of obtaining the maximum number of kilos of food possible, which would then be donated to the city’s food bank.

At the end of the gymkhana, the Seville Food Bank’s head of communication came in person to thank the laboratory for its donation, awarding the delegates a commemorative plaque as a keepsake.

Both the "Tapa Tour" and the "Mission Kilo" gymkhana, in which more than 800 kilos of non-perishable foods were collected by around 100 people, were a resounding success.

Es.cultura’s broad range of options suits all kinds of events, from incentive trips to conventions.
