The winners of the contest will be able to experience Melia's wellbeing tips given during a number of weekend breaks at a selection of the chain's Spanish properties.
One of the most active hotel brands in the social media and the 2nd Spanish chain with the largest number of Facebook fans, Melia Hotels & Resorts has launched a contest – forming a part of its new campaign Life Management – aimed at sharing tips for wellbeing with its online community. The winners of the contest will be given the opportunity to experience each one of the moments of wellbeing proposed in the campaign during a weekend break at a selection of the brand's Spanish properties.
To participate in the contest, fans only have to visit www.facebook.com/melia-hotels, choose their favourite tip and share it with their group of friends. There are eight weekend breaks for two to be won at the following hotels in Spain: Melia Palas Atenea (Palma de Mallorca), Melia Barcelona, Melia Marbella Banus, Melia Madrid Princesa, Melia Alto Aragón (Formigal, Huesca), Melia de Mar (Calvia, Mallorca), Melia Sitges (Barcelona) and Melia Bilbao. All these properties make a nod to the tips given in Life Management. So, for instance, the winner of a weekend break at the Melia Palas Atenea (Palma de Mallorca) will be able to enjoy a relaxing session at the property's spectacular YHI spa centre, while the winner of the weekend break at the Melia Barcelona will have at his or her disposal the VIP services the property provides guests in its luxury rooms and use of the exclusive facilities of The Level.
Life Management is a branding campaign launched by Melia Hotels & Resorts, whose aim is to reinforce its differentiating factors, its modernity, its urban and holiday character and the value of its clients by means of a number of small tips that invite guests to enjoy life and which can be experienced at all its properties.
The campaign has been launched in the social media so as to swell the number of the chain's fans. As regards the number of fans, Melia Hotels & Resorts is currently ranked 2nd in Spain, with over 55,200, and 27th worldwide. All the brands making up Melia Hotels International, together with the group's corporate website, have a total of 152,000 fans and followers.
