MeetingPlanners Russia 2015: Third edition of The Event of the Year

From 7-8 September, the always vibrant city of Moscow will host the third annual edition of MeetingPlanners Russia.



International MICE suppliers will converge on the capital of the Russian Federation to meet with event planners keen on finding key partners from around the world. At this "by invitation only" event, there will be meeting planners not only from Russia but also from CIS and neighbouring Asian countries.



The event industry is delighted to see Russia overcoming the slight economic dip that it has recently experienced, with its currency and GDP now making a gradual comeback. The country’s improved situation has already encouraged several destinations and suppliers to register again for the event. But despite Russia’s recent economic woes, the value of Russian and CIS markets remains high, with suppliers realizing that their continued efforts in these markets will pay off sooner or later.



ITB/IPK research has shown that Russian outbound travel is expected to register a year-on-year increase of 1% in 2015. Specifically, a larger increase is expected for MICE travel versus leisure travel.

The upcoming edition of the two-day event will feature a varied event program of pre-scheduled and match-made meetings, together with educational sessions, networking, lunches, after-work receptions and a sublime gala dinner – all at excellent 5-star venues reflecting both the event’s concept and its participants.
