MCI Group, leader in event organization and communication management, continues to grow in Spain and has reinforced its team with new appointments.

"Our company continued to register growth last year. Despite the difficult outlook, 2010 was a year of consolidation for us. Our incoming division reaffirmed its position as one of Spain’s leading DMCs, while our congress and corporate event departments both grew, with turnover up 30% with respect to the year before," said Sandrine Castres, manager of MCI Spain. "In 2011, our objective is to continue growing in Spain in profitable way and to increase our reach especially as regards corporate events."

With the aim of reinforcing its structure and ensuring perennial growth, MCO has made some changes in its management team. Jose Pablo Diaz has been appointed corporate event manager, while Rudolf Rannegger will occupy the post of DMC manager.

Since joining MCI in 2007, Rannegger has occupied the post of account manager in the incoming division. During this time, he has developed and diversified MCI’s business, gaining a foothold in new markets and obtaining top accounts.

With the recruiting of Diaz as corporate event manager, the company consolidates its position in the national market and integrates the different business areas in full expansion, with a special mention going to events, communication and medical education for the pharmaceutical industry. Diaz has 14 years of experience in the MICE industry feeder markets, as well as in incoming and PCO services.
