On 21 September, Market Development’s team supported Diplocat (Public Diplomacy Council of Catalonia), the entity responsible for organizing, together with Sant Cugat Town Council, a conference much-awaited by many Catalonian entrepreneurs and public authorities.
The event’s guest star was none other than the eminent North American sociologist, speaker, consultant, politician, writer, and economist Jeremy Rifkin, who delivered his keynote to a packed auditorium. Rifkin set out his vision of “The new economic paradigm for a sustainable Catalonia”.
Our team of event staff lived up to the importance of the event, since, besides Rifkin, also present were Oriol Junqueras, Vice-president and Councillor for Economy and Inland Revenue of the Generalitat, Carles Puigdemont, President of the Generalitat, and Mercè Conesa, Mayoress of Sant Cugat and President of the provincial government of Barcelona, among others.
Our team handled the following:

- Ushering in the auditorium.
- Accompanying Rifkin during the event.
