The Malaga Tradeshow and Congress Centre (FYCMA) has been chosen as the new location for installing a charge point for the electric cars of the "ZeM2All" (Zero Emission Mobility to All) project.
Promoted by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) – under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Industry of Japan – the Japanese companies Mitsubishi Corporation, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Hitachi, Endesa – the company leading the Spanish consortium, including Telefonica and Sadiel – and Malaga City Council, the project will last four years (from 2011-2015).
With a four-year investment of €62 million, funded by the Japanese government and Spanish and Japanese companies, the initiative was approved by NEDO.
