The official presentation of the new company that will manage Malaga Bullring during the next five years took place on 22 February in the Picasso Museum’s auditorium.
The partners of the new company, the bullfighters Javier Conde and Francisco Rivera Ordoñez, and the businessmen Fernando Puche and Simon Casa, were all present at the event.
The event was highly original. After the partners presented the new company, flamenco guitarist Montoyita played “Amor Huido”, a fandango from Ronda. Afterwards, artist Andres Merida painted the poster for Resurrection Day, while flamenco singer Estrella Morente sung “Amor de mis amores”, an Andalusian gypsy dance.
Macarena Regueira, director of Makyre Comunicacion, commented after the event, “The event’s originality and the chance to watch how a picture is painted from scratch were the aspects most admired by the guests, who then enjoyed the gardens of the museum, the perfect venue for holding an event full of art and tradition.”
