Jerez Convention Bureau has recently organized a fam trip for a group of executives from
Unicongress/Viajes Atlanta, Quality Travel, Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Creatur, Macguffin, Sittis, Ac Comunicación, Viajes Arizona, ACES Events and Grupo INK, all of which are Madrid-based incentive houses or PCOs or companies with specialized MICE divisions.
The group stayed at the Tryp Jerez Hotel and the Barcelo Montecastillo Hotel. During the trip, they also visited the hotels Los Jándalos, Prestige Palmera Plaza and Palacio Garvey, where they held a meeting with representatives of the town’s business community. Likewise, they were given a tour of the Atalaya Museums and the Carriage Museum, as well as Dehesa Bolaños, the Cartuja Stud and the Real Tesoro Wineries.
The group has the opportunity to savour the town’s culinary delicacies at La Carbona, Gallo Azul and Venta Antonio, and were treated to a flamenco show performed by the Tablao del Bereber and day out in the countryside at the los Alburejos estate. All the executives taking part in the fam trip were surprised by the town’s varied event venues, facilities and services.
The fam trip is part and parcel of the Jerez Convention Bureau’s Action Plan, which this year will centre on the organization of fam trips for event planners and PCOs with the aim of showcasing the town’s potential when its new congress centre opens next year.
