As in previous years, Malaga’s emblematic Hotel Larios is running a varied programme of cultural events during the summer months, including national and international short film screenings and flamenco jazz and bossa nova sessions, accompanied by the very best in cocktails and Mediterranean and Japanese cuisine.
Sociocultural programme
Mondays (10-11.30pm): a selection of the best national and international short films, co-ordinated by Jaime Santaolalla.
Tuesdays (9.30-11.30pm): “Kronenburg Nights” live jazz sessions with the trio MJ4.
Wednesdays (10-11.30pm): “San Miguel Nights” bossa nova and soul sessions.
Thursdays (9.30-11.30pm): “Moët Chandon Nights” live flamenco jazz sessions.
Fridays (10pm-2am): “Nordic Mist Nights” champagne and cocktail lounge. Free cocktail or glass of champagne with your dinner at the C & C Lounge, with DJ music sessions including rare grooves, samba soul, dance floor jazz, exotica and funky. (Subject to booking.)
Saturdays (10pm-2am): “Bacardi Nights” Terraza Sounds, with guest DJs, VJs and additional surprises. (Subject to booking.)
Sundays (8.30-12pm): “Happy Sundays” Martinis 2x1. Two cocktails for the price of one (per person), accompanied by excellent music.
Hotel Larios’ roof terrace bar and restaurant, which has magnificent views of the historic centre and a select ambience, is open daily until the 30 September, except for during Malaga Fair.
