One of the original trips organized by the experience marketing multinational La Vida es Bella, which has become a classic with the company's clients, is Paris. A trip with several common denominators, it can be adapted to the client's needs and preferences.
It is also an ideal incentive or motivation trip for small groups of eight to twelve people. The last two trips organized by La Vida es Bella included morning work sessions. For the rest of the two-day trip, a series of leisure activities were programmed keyed to entertaining all the participants, whose chief aim was to create the right atmosphere for socializing.
The trip’s programme included a night’s accommodation at a luxury hotel next to the Champs Elysees, and a “wind tunnel” experience in the only skydiving simulator in the world. A series of propellers generate a wind speed higher than 250km/h, which creates a freefall sensation similar to that of a parachute jump from a plane. Supervised by several professionals, the participants had three goes each, sessions lasting two minutes. In addition, so as to avoid mishaps, all the participants were given a medical and a detailed explanation of the activity.
The afternoon programme ended with a visit to one of the world’s largest go-kart circuits, where the participants had the chance to race against each other. In the evening, part of the group chose to dine at the Jules Verne (the Torre Eiffel’s restaurant), while others plumped for a restaurant offering a “dark dining” experience. After dinner, a number of participants went to see a show at the Moulin Rouge, where they were taken after an agreeable spin in a Hummer limousine, while the rest preferred to check out Paris’ nightlife at one of the city’s top discotheques, accompanied by a PR officer.
Trends in business tourism are gradually shifting in this direction, with the inclusion of original experiences so as to turn a trip into an unforgettable experience. By introducing these elements it is possible to create the right atmosphere among those taking part in the experience, helping them to relax and enjoy themselves. As a result, working relations improve.
