The Barcelona-based company iVentions has won the bid for managing hospitality services at the championships, which will focus on the public’s comfort.
The international event production company iVentions has been commissioned to pamper the public at the FINA World Championships, scheduled to be held in Barcelona from 19 July-4 August 2013.
iVention will provide a hospitality area for the members of the public looking for a tailored service and an exclusive level of attention. Standing out for its quality and comfort, the area is all set to become the city’s social meeting place during the 15-day world championships. Likewise, the venue will feature the "Market Street", with restaurants and a full programme of entertainment. The members of the organizational team and the volunteers are also fundamental for iVentions and, with a top-quality catering service, they will treated like VIP guests.
iVentions will create, furbish and manage all these venues and services, with the aim of making the FINA World Championships 2013 in Barcelona a memorable experience for the public, members of the organizational team and volunteers. Thousands of people from different countries and cultures are expected to attend the championships (swimming, diving, open water swimming, synchronized swimming, and water polo) to be held at the city’s world-class facilities: the Palau Sant Jordi, the Bernat Picornell Swimming Pools, the Montjuïc Municipal Swimming Pool and the Moll de la Fusta. Barcelona 2013 aspires to become the best world championships to date and iVention will help the city achieve this aim.
