Another group of students from Italy has come to study Spanish in Instituto Mediterráneo Sol, it stayed with us from the 30th of March to the 8th of April and decided to take the DELE exam too.
This type of ‘study trip’ is very important for foreign students because it allows them to visit new places and cities, spend time with their classmates and practice Spanish, improving their level thanks to a full linguistic immersion. The students stay, in fact, with Spanish families and with them they can eat, talk and spend time together in order to facilitate the learning of a foreign language. Moreover, in the morning from 9am to 13.30am, they take part into Spanish lessons in IMSOL where, divided into groups, they can work with our native language teachers.
DELE exam at IMSOL
The students from Italy who stayed with us last week chose a programme a little bit different from the usual one, because they decided to undergo their DELE exam (diploma of Spanish as a foreign language) here in Granada, in IMSOL. For this reason, the classes they attended in the morning have been specific for the preparation of the DELE, for both the oral and the written parts. On Thursday afternoon, therefore, the Italian students took their first Spanish exam, that is the oral part, and on Friday morning they made the written part.
Apart from the study of Spanish, this group had a lot of time to visit Granada and, especially, its historical centre with the Cathedral and Royal Chapel, the most known neighborhoods like the Realejo, the Albaicín and the Sacromonte and, of course, the Alhambra, with its Palacios Nazaríes, the Alcazaba and the Generalife gardens, which is a mandatory stop for those who come visiting our city. The students’ group also had the possibility to visit two other beautiful cities of Andalucía: Ronda and Cordova.
We are very proud that this group decided to undergo the DELE exam in IMSOL and that a lot of students come to study Spanish in our institute every year.
For this reason we want to thank them very much!
