International Confex 2008 Returns to Earls Court for Its 25th Edition

International Confex, the UK’s leading show for event organisers, will be returning to London’s Earls Court Exhibition Centre from the 12-14 February 2008, bringing together people who organise any kind of event with providers of venues, destinations and event support services in the UK and from around the world.



International Confex, scheduled to be held at Earls Court from 12-14 February 2008, is now running into its 25th year. As Europe’s best-attended show, it offers excellent networking opportunities, bringing together event organisers with venues, destinations and event service providers from the UK and abroad, as well as exceptional educational content.



Figures for 2007

There were more than 12,300 attendees at Confex International 2007, up 16% on attendance figures for the 2006 edition. Furthermore, over 96% of visitors questioned said it was likely that they would make a purchase as a direct result of visiting.



With regard to attendee profiles, 74% of visitors approve, influence or recommend purchasing decisions, 63% are manager level or above, 55% organise more than 10 events a year – from conferences to awards dinners, meetings and corporate events, product launches and team building – 90% hold events in the UK and 60% do so internationally. In addition, one in four visitors’ companies spends over £1 million on events annually.



Five exhibit areas

International Confex 2008 is divided into five colour-coded zones to help visitors find their way around the show: UK venues and destinations; international venues, destinations and travel; corporate events and parties; exhibiting and events live; and the London area.



Confex Knowledge

Confex Knowledge will include an extensive free seminar programme, advice centre, bookshop and keynote speeches.
