In October and November, Atlanta exhibited in two of the world’s most important MICE shows.
After the AIBTM fair in Baltimore (USA), Atlanta returned to the American continent to participate in the second edition of IMEX America.
From 9-11 October, IMEX America was held in Las Vegas. IMEX is an international fair for incentive travel, meetings and events and, this year, Atlanta attended as an exhibitor alongside the Barcelona Convention Bureau. The fair took place at the Sands Expo Convention Center, part of the Venetian style Palazzo Hotel, and brought together more than 8,000 professionals from the sector, including visitors and exhibitors. Over the three days, more than 2,400 companies from 148 countries promoted their destinations, products and services keyed to the MICE industry, drawing in 20% more attendance than in the previous edition. Atlanta managed to attract the attention of different American companies both from the corporate and associate sector by presenting a wide range of MICE proposals and activities in Spain and Portugal.
