The congress is currently being held from 8-12 October with the attendance of 210 doctors from 24 countries, featuring the chief medical officers of FC Barcelona and Liverpool FC.
Ibiza Gran Hotel ends the season with the 26th annual congress of the Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Society (MUSOC), with 210 practitioners from 34 countries, including New Zealand, Australia, South Korea, US, Israel, Belgium, Holland, Denmark, France, India, Argentina, Tunisia, Lithuania and Bulgaria, among others.
The attendees include the chief medical officer of FC Barcelona and other doctors responsible for European teams and national federations, such as the Olympic Committee and Liverpool FC. Furthermore, five Spanish professors from Barcelona, Madrid, Toledo and San Sebastian are also attending the congress.
MUSOC is a US-based scientific society. The three previous editions of the annual congress were held in the United Arab Emirates, Belgium, and India. This is the third time that the MUSOC congress has been held in Spain, the Costa del Sol and Barcelona having hosted it in 1994 and 2009, respectively.
