The largest spa resort in A Toxa has launched two relaxing and revitalizing programmes to start the year on a good footing, both costing €50.
The Hesperia Isla de La Toja Hotel, the largest spa resort on the island of A Toxa, has designed two relaxing and revitalizing programmes to see the year out. Specifically designed for this time of the year, the New Year’s Zen programme combines the medicinal properties of the mineral waters of A Toxa with the wisdom of oriental medicine and Zen techniques. The programme includes a neuro-sedative bath in A Toxa waters and a regenerating Zen massage. The White Christmas programme is also relaxation-centric, including a relaxing bath in A Toxa waters, a toning white clay body wrap and revitalizing facial massage. The two programmes cost €50 and can be booked as additional services at the hotel-spa resort.

In addition, as is customary every year, the Hesperia Isla de La Toja has designed the menus it will be serving on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Dinner on 24 December will include traditional dishes, such as scallops baked with Iberian ham and roast cod with cauliflower cream and ratatouille, followed by Iberian sirloin in port sauce with roast potatoes and spring onions. The package costs €132 per person and includes accommodation, dinner followed by music courtesy of a DJ, buffet breakfast and access to the spa.
For the New Year’s Eve gala dinner, the menu will be more sophisticated, featuring lobster with vegetables, emulsion of coral and tender lettuce, red prawn cream with seafood tartar, turbot in cava sauce with green apple compote, sirloin steak with candied potatoes, wild mushrooms and Mencia grape sauce, in addition to traditional desserts. There will also be live music. New Year’s Eve rates are €290 per person, including access to the spa and buffet breakfast.
In addition, there are special rates for children: €42 on Christmas Eve and €63 on New Year’s Eve. Clients booking before 12 December will obtain a 15% discount.
