H10 Hotels Obtains ISO 9001:2008 Certification for Quality Management System

In May, H10 Hotels obtained the ISO 9001: 2008 certification, after passing the audit carried out at the chain’s central offices and properties in Barcelona.



In May, H10 Hotels obtained the ISO 9001: 2008 certification, the international quality management system. With the aim of ensuring the quality of its services, H10 Hotels has just recently obtained the said certification for its central office and hotels in Barcelona, thus guaranteeing the proper functioning of its H10 Quality Excellence Management System. This certification has already been obtained by the chain’s hotels on the Costa Dorada and the Costa del Sol, as well as on the islands of Tenerife and Lanzarote.



With these certifications, which acknowledge the implementation and maintenance of the chain’s quality control system, H10 Hotels highlights its commitment to quality and constant improvement so as to continue to provide its guests with with the most efficient service possible and to ensure their full satisfaction.



This achievement forms part of H10 Hotels’ quality policy. In keeping with this policy, H10 Hotels implemented the H10 Quality Excellence Management System programme, a proprietary quality, sustainability and environmental system keyed to guest satisfaction and environmental protection. Thanks to H10 Quality’s strict internal auditing processes, H10 Hotels has obtained quality certifications from a large number of accreditation bodies, such as Q for Quality Tourism, Biosphere, and the aforementioned ISO 9001: 2008, to name but a few.



ISO 9001: 2008 is based on eight principles: customer focus; leadership; involvement of people; process approach; system approach to management; continual improvement; factual approach to decision making; and mutually beneficial supplier relationships.



ISO 9001: 2008 is also geared to improving the chain’s internal processes, as well as being a way of demonstrating to guests the chain’s commitment to continuously improving its products and services.
