H10 Hotels Launches New Mobile Website and App

The H10 Hotels’ new mobile website allows Smartphone users to access information and make bookings at the chains 40+ properties in a simple and intuitive fashion.



H10 Hotels has recently launched its first mobile website geared to smartphone users. This new website is an additional tool for clients allowing them to immediately access information about the chain’s hotels from anywhere in the world.



The initiative stems from the significant increase in the use of mobile devices observed since 2011, which led to a large increase in traffic to the chain’s desktop website via these devices. So the chain decided to develop an optimized solution for smartphone users.



One of the main challenges was to find the way of providing an enhanced user experience and designing a website compatible with the majority of operating systems (Android, iOS, etc.) so as to reach the largest audience possible. Another requirement was the need to develop an app that complied with the chain’s chief standards as regards design, usability and navigability, as well as integrating its main systems: content management (CMS), booking engine, and CRM.



Besides the mobile website, H10 Hotels has developed native apps for iPhone and Android, which can be downloaded free from the App Store y and Google Play.

Main features of new mobile website

H10 Hotels’ new mobile website offers users detailed information about the chain’s properties: contact details, services, and facilities, photos and videos, and also guest comments. The website also includes the chain’s best specials and packages.



The website also allows smartphone users to make safe bookings in three easy steps and manage them, whether this be viewing or canceling them. Room rates are also available in different currencies (Euros, US Dollars and Pounds Sterling).



In addition, the website also features a very useful tool that, thanks to the geolocation technology incorporated by mobile devices, allows users to find the nearest hotel using Google Maps.



Members of the Club H10 have an exclusive area featuring special discounts and all the advantages of the chain’s customer loyalty programme. They can also check the number of points that they have obtained to date and how they have won them, update their contact details, and use the Club H10’s practical virtual card.



Lastly, the new platform also features direct links to the chain’s listings in the main social media: Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Flickr y Foursquare.



First assessment

Since being launched in mid-June, the results have exceeded the chain’s initial expectations, both as regards the number of visits and booking made. This success has encouraged the chain to start development on another mobile website for its Caribbean brand Ocean by H10 Hotels.
