The Granada Tourist Board has organised recently a meeting between the key actors in the province’s tourist industry and travel agents and tour operators based in Malaga, with a view to getting them to include the province of Granada in their itineraries.

Fifty representatives of different municipal tourist boards in the province of Granada, plus several associations and around 30 hotels and other tourist-related enterprises, assisted the meeting held at the hotel Barcelo Malaga, to which 400 Malaga-based travel agents, including 30 specialists in incentive travel, were invited.

As regards the presentation made by the Granada delegation, it is worth mentioning the improvements made to the tourist cave house accommodation in Guadix and Baza, the 36 million euros that have been spent on improving facilities at the Sierra Nevada Ski Station, and the new programme of flamenco fusion performances in the city of Granada.
