The Guadalpin Marbella Hotel’s Mesana restaurant has been offering a series of special dinners each Monday since the beginning of June. The Andalusian Cuisine and International Sommelier Cycle has been designed to offer diners a careful selection of present-day trends in contemporary Andalusian cooking, with the presence of prestigious Andalusian chefs and internationally renowned sommeliers.
Since the beginning of the month, Mesana has already play host to Benito Gomez of Tragabuches (Ronda), together with the somellier and "Golden Nose 2007" Antonio Jesus Gutierrez Blanco of Trujal Vinos, the chef of Med (Torremolinos) Richard Alcayde, accompanied by Steve Labbe, somellier of Martin Bersategui (Lasarte) with three Michelin Stars, and Javier Gila and Marcos Pedraza, chef of La Ruta del Veleta (Granada) and somellier of Lavinia (Madrid), respectively.
Next Monday, June 23, it will be the turn of the chefs of the Guadalpin Hotel with Jose Mangas, sommelier of Aula Sur (Caceres). Lastly, on Monday 30, the chef Celia Jimenez of Bodegas Campos and the sommelier Mario of El Zarcillo (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria) will close the cycle.
