The group was given a taste of Andalusian charm with a team building activity organized by Turespaña, Turismo Andaluz and the Malaga-Costa del Sol Tourism Office.

Fun, folklore, tradition, vineyards and the impressive monuments of this southern Spanish city were just some of the ingredients.

Exploramas provided the entertainment for a fam trip organized by Turespaña, Turismo Andaluz and the Malaga-Costa del Sol Tourism Office for a group of German tour operators and travel agents.

The Malaga- and Barcelona-based company designed a flamenco team building programme, a fun and original experience in which the participants were given a taste of Andalusian culture and folklore through a number of challenges and tests.

The event, which took place at the Joaquin Fernandez Winery in the Ronda Highlands, formed a part of the programme of functions for the Fvw Forum (organized by Fremdenverkehrswirtschaft, a leading publication in the German market), which was held in Marbella in mid-September.

The group of 40 people was divided into teams competing in a number of fun challenges: Picasso (a painting activity), percussion (learning the basic southern rhythms), sevillanas (a beginner’s course in this famous Andalusian folkdance), and a flamenco carnival (characterizing two typical figures of regional folklore with costumes).

"It’s an authentic experience in which the participants have thoroughly enjoyed themselves, while promoting team spirit and discovering our culture and traditions," explained Manuel Araujo, CEO of Exploramas, who went on to stress the magnificent opportunity that these types of programmes offer for promoting the destination.

"Ronda is an imposing city, a place where we organize a large number of corporate events, and I’m sure that the participants have been duly impressed by its beauty," concluded Araujo.

A member of the Costa del Sol Convention Bureau, Exploramas frequently participates in many of the fam trips and promotional activities organized by different institutions and organizations such as the Malaga-Costa del Sol Tourism Office. An indoor reforestation programme for a group of Russian tourism professionals at the Mijas House-Museum, or an Enigma iPad in the Botanical Gardens of La Concepcion (Malaga) are just two of the initiatives in which the company has participated in the last few months.

Exploramas is a Malaga- and Barcelona-based company with over 13 years of experience in creating, designing and organizing corporate team building programmes, adventure activities and CSR initiatives.
