German Companies Occupy 2013 European Best Events Awards Podium

The winners were announced at a ceremony held in Milan on 26 November.



Held at Milan’s Museo della Scienza e della Tecnologia during the BEA Expo Festival, the 8th edition of the European version of the Best Event Awards, created by ADC Group and dedicated to the excellences of the event industry, was a completely German affair with the agencies Heimat, Vitamin-e and Fact and Fiction picking up the top three prizes.



The winners of the 8th edition of the awards, which included 106 entries by 63 agencies, were chosen on the island of Malta by a jury formed by 28 representatives of agencies, companies, media and associations and chaired by Michael Mueller, marketing and communication manager at Samsung.



The agency Heimat picked up the Golden Elephant in the "Product Launch" category for "All Eyes of the S4," a campaign commissioned by Swisscom to launch the Samsung Galaxy S4 with a big bang. Vitamin-e and Fact and Fiction occupied second and third place with campaigns "Photography Playground" for Olympus and "Science for a Better Life" for Bayer, respectively.
