The Malaga Tradeshow and Congress Centre’s event agenda includes eight professional trade fairs and four shows open to the general public.
The event agenda of the Malaga Tradeshow and Congress Centre (FYCMA) for 2013 features 13 quality tradeshows related to different sectors – eight organized by the centre and five externally organized shows.
Firstly, FYCMA will host the 5th edition of "Natura Malaga", a show geared to promoting a healthy, sustainable, and eco-friendly lifestyle, scheduled to be held from 17-19 May. This will be followed from 5-6 June by the 3rd edition of "Diseño Universal", the International Forum on Universal Design and Mobility in the City, in which the accent will be on the concept of mobility in the city as a fundamental element of 21st century city planning. The forum is an initiative of the centre and Malaga City Council.
Later on in the year, in October, FYCMA will host three events: "Greencities", a forum on intelligence applied to urban sustainability, one of the leading events of its kind in Spain which will convert Malaga into the centre of research and progress in energy efficiency from 2-3 October; "Celebra Málaga", the 7th edition of the Wedding and Celebration Show, which will take place from 11-13 October; and the 2nd edition of "Mi Mascota", a pet show whose 1st edition was a resounding success in 2012 both with the general public and trade professionals.
In November, the centre will host the 10th edition of "SIMed", the Mediterranean Real Estate Show, from 1st-3rd of the month; and from 13th-14th, the 2nd edition of "Ser Emprendedor", a self-employment forum that is an excellent example of the centre’s policy of promoting events geared to professional networking and business lead generation.
Finally, in December, FYCMA will host the 10th edition of "MIMA", a show that has offered children and their parents a broad programme of fun activities since first being held in 2003.
Likewise, the centre will also host several externally organized shows, including the 9th and 10th editions of Feria del Outlet Malaga (scheduled to be held in April and November, respectively); "Expocannabis Sur", a forum on hemp and alternative technologies, which will take place from 31 May-2 June; "Animacomic", the 2nd edition of the Anime, Manga, and Comic Show, from 6-7 July; and the Rastrillo Nuevo Futuro, the charity flee market scheduled to be held from 4-8 December.
