The Malaga Tradeshow and Congress Centre (FYCMA) has recently renewed the OHSAS 18001 certification, the DNV standard for occupational health and safety management. Thus, the certifying agency SGS has performed an audit with the aim of certifying that the centre complies with occupational safety standards and is advancing in its commitment to society and the environment.
The agency SGS has confirmed FYCMA’s renewal of the OHSAS 18001 certification, the DNV standard for occupational health and safety management that the centre first obtained in 2013, thus highlighting the centre’s commitment to promoting initiatives aimed at effectively improving the work conditions and occupational safety and health of its employees and collaborators, in compliance with the obligations and duties established by the Occupational Risk Prevention Act.
Furthermore, FYCMA is also encouraging its suppliers, collaborators, visitors, and users to strive to improve work conditions and comply with the law as regards prevention, always prioritizing health so as to avoid injuries or harm.
It is worth mentioning that FYCMA has also obtained the following certifications: the ISO 9001 Quality Management System; the Q for Quality of the Spanish Association of Trade Show (AFE); the Q for Quality for Convention Centres, awarded by ICTE (now UNE 187004); the UNE 170001 Universal Accessibility Management System; the ISO-50001 Energy Management System; and the ISO 27001 Cyber Security System.
