The Malaga Tradeshow and Congress Centre (FYCMA) has passed the audit of its Information Security Management System by the Spanish Organization of Standardization and Certification (AENOR), in accordance with the ISO 27001 Standard, accrediting that the centre earmarks resources and implements suitable procedures to identify and control potential risks related to viruses, intrusions, computer fraud, and lack of protection of the centre’s information systems and computer processes, in a scenario increasingly more characterized by the generation and management of large volumes of data – for example, via event registration platforms.
FYCMA first obtained this certification in June 2009, after which it was renewed in 2015. However, each year AENOR conducts a follow-up audit in order to check compliance with criteria related to this issue and the implementation of AENOR’s recommendations.
