Enjoy this dinner experience at the five-star Hesperia Madrid on 12 May.
The El Setsubun, “a separation of seasons”, is a festival held in Japan on the day before the beginning of spring, according to the ancient Chinese lunisolar calendar introduced to Japan via Korea.
Dinner will be accompanied by a special ritual for driving away the demons of the previous and coming year. In this ritual, known as mamemaki, seeds are symbolically scattered to purify homes and drive away evil spirits: “Demons out, luck in!”
