Forum MAD ’09 builds on Forum SVQ’08, celebrated last year, in which experts and representatives of the tourism industry and other fields of economic activity discussed the theme "Brand value and market orientation. A new client relationship".
MAD’08 will focus on how new tendencies and concepts related to marketing and advertising emerge and evolve, and how new trends and tools appear, providing alternative methods of operating in the industry. The forum will also address the fusion taking place between these new techniques and the very wide scope of operations offered by the digital technology revolution, allowing current advertising to be much more dynamic and attractive for users and consumers, alike.
Organized by the State Secretariat of Tourism, through the Spanish Tourism Institution, in collaboration with the Madrid Convention Bureau, the event, scheduled to be held at IMAX Madrid on 5 November 2009, is geared to the following audience:
- Directors of tourism companies and marketing and sales departments.
- Heads of advertising of autonomous communities, local institutions and other public organs.
- Economy and business sections of general and specialized media.
The forum’s opening keynote address will be delivered by Jack Trout, an international marketing expert and creator of concepts such as positioning and differentiation strategies. And the closing keynote will be given by the well-known marketing guru Martin Lindstrom, who created the buyolgy concept.
Registration will be conducted on first-come-first-serve basis. Professionals registered at www.tourspain.es will be given priority over the rest of the applicants.
