The Gran Hotel Son Net, dating back to 1672, and located in the privacy of its own estate in the Tramuntana Mountains on the island of Mallorca Spain, now offers corporate meetings, small conferences, bespoke incentives and product launches at its property.
With 31 guest rooms including five suites (three of which are Royal Suites with one Presidential Suite), the boutique hotel can be configured any way that meets a client brief. From the use of outside terraces, to indoor and outdoor dining, and a 30 metre swimming pool that can also be covered if the space is required, plus free W-Fi throughout the hotel. Son Net can cater for events up to 150 people with its own conference room taking 35 people seated theatre-style plus a Mezzanine area for private dining or an additional meeting room/conference or private banquet setting for 40. The main Oleum Restaurant can seat 120.
"We have decided to offer this unique property because of the demand we have had for product launches, filming, and special events and incentives. We have unique connections on the island that can also provide some very unusual facilities and event ideas, from personal PGA Tournament golf pro’s, to ancillary receptions in private ’fincas’, personalized shopping experiences, yacht charters, classic car rides and helicopter tours. For those looking to take over the whole hotel, day rates start from €7,500 (approx. £6,000) for a minimum of three nights in the low season, and rise to €25,000 (approx. £20,000) in the high season.
Gran Hotel Son Net is privately owned and was opened as a hotel in 1998. The estate is divided up into one main building and various outbuildings. It has been restored to maintain the historic features with a traditional interior courtyard, reception area, the Oleum Restaurant with the estate’s original olive oil press, an extensive wine cellar, conference rooms, gym, bar, beauty and treatment rooms, various halls, private chapel, outdoor restaurant, landscaped gardens, swimming pool surrounded by private cabanas plus two additional swimming pools and jacuzzis. The owner’s private art collection is also featured around the hotel including works by Hockney, Stella and Chagall.
The hotel is located in the heart of Mallorca’s spectacular mountain countryside and yet it is only 20 minutes drive away from the island’s capital of Palma and 25 minutes drive from Palma International Airport.
