The 1st edition of the "Corrida de los Candiles", a candlelit bullfight created and organized by Toro S.L. and Events Privilege, respectively, will be held at the Marbella Bullring at 11pm on 1 August.
This candlelit bullfight will be held annually in acknowledgement of all those matadors that started their career from scratch, bullfighting sometimes in secret. This year, the Candil Prize has been awarded to Manuel Benitez El Cordobes, a matador of outstanding courage and merit.
In this 1st edition of the bullfight, scheduled to be held at the Marbella Bullring at 11pm on 1 August, matadors Finito de Cordoba, Jose Maria Manzanares, and Alejandro Talavante will fight six Zalduendo bulls.
The presentation of the bullfight took place today, 17th July, at 12am, at Marbella’s La Meridiana restaurant.
