Seville's Exhibition and Congress Centre (FIBES) will be hosting the International Flamenco Fashion Show (SIMOF), the only one of its kind in the world, during the last weekend of January. As in previous years, well-known fashion houses and designers are currently preparing to present their collections – which will be worn at the April Fair and on many other occasions – at the fashion show, bringing together designers, models, trade professionals and entrepreneurs related to flamenco fashion and handicrafts under one roof.
Scheduled to be held in Hall1 at FIBES from 29 January-1 February 2009, the 15th edition of the event, jointly organized by the congress centre and Doble Erre, continues to contribute to the growth of such a relevant industry as is that of flamenco fashion, involving a wide range of SMEs, and large companies, most of which are based in Andalusia.
With the aim of promoting and developing the flamenco fashion industry, SIMOF 2009 will be hosting more than 90 exhibitors, 28 fashion shows in which 32 designers will be participating with their creations, and the New Designers Competition.
