Buenas Aires’ Costa Salguero Centre will be hosting EXPOEVENTOS 2007 from 24-26 October, a business tourism industry event focusing on trade shows, exhibitions, congresses, conventions, business meetings, and corporate events in general.
Target audience
This event is geared above all to top management, those responsible for institutional relations, marketing and advertising directors, executives related to chambers of commerce, professional associations, collegiate bodies, scientific institutions, cultural, civic and sports associations, and public bodies.
Professional event planners, convention centres, convention bureaux, event promotion agencies, and national and international tourist destinations will be among those participating in the 4th edition of International Event Organisation and Business Tourism Trade Show.
Specific suppliers
Suppliers attending the show will include convention and congress hotels, spas, road, air and maritime transport companies, travel agencies, catering companies, audio-visual equipment rental firms, temporary staff agencies, stand design and construction companies, merchandising firms, specialised publishing houses and media, registration system providers, companies specialising in simultaneous translation and interpreting, car and coach rental firms, event technology providers, complementary activity organisers, logistics companies, business gift and merchandising specialists, etc.
Parallel programme

The industry’s growth with regard to investment, events held and the number of delegates/visitors gives reason to be optimistic about the future.
In 2006, some 1,510 million pesos (up 16.3% from 2005) were spent on 301 exhibitions and trade shows and 1,036 congresses, with the participation of 42,938 exhibitors, attracting a total of 7,955,218 visitors.
