The Uruguayan meetings and event magazine ’Eventos Latinoamericanos’ has just announced its 2008 ’Latino’ Award for outstanding management in the promotion of a destination as an habitual venue for international events. The prize will be awarded to the winner at a ceremony to be held during FIEXPO – the Latin American and Caribbean International MICE Show – in Montevideo in June 2009.
The candidates, which include Latin America and the Caribbean convention bureaux, and public and private agencies and institutions whose aim is to promote their destinations facilities and services for hosting congresses, conventions, tradeshows and meetings in general, should register from 1 September-15 December 2008.
