The agency is hard at work on a major international project geared to developing pioneering virtual reality technology.
At the beginning of September, Eventisimo received 24 DK2 Virtual Reality Headsets. These devices are the second generation of the development kit that Oculus VR only sells to certified developers who submit an interesting project. There is still no fixed date for the release of this technology.
Eventisimo has drafted an international project, in collaboration with a number of other multinationals from different sectors, keyed to developing applied virtual reality technology. In acknowledgement of this project, the California-based tech firm sent Eventisimo 24 headsets, a number, in the words of the representatives of Oculus, very difficult to obtain.
Eventisimo enthusiastically values this acknowledgment and treats it as en exciting challenge. Dario Regattieri, CEO of Eventismo, is passionate about communication and image technology, which has led him to put together this virtual reality development project, directed by Jacobo Navas, chief engineer, Celestino Fernandez, software manager, and Juan Jose Peralta, who will be responsible for content and 3D design. These three professionals are longstanding staff members of Eventisimo.
In March 2014, Facebook acquired Oculus VR for $2 billion, which highlights the interest that the social networking giant shows in virtual reality as a future content format. A future to which Eventisimo will try contribute with its efforts.
