Eventisimo participated in the tribute to the Spanish medalists, which took place during the celebration of the 50th anniversary of AS, with a production reminiscent of the ’92 Olympic Games.
On 13 July, AS paid tribute to Olympic sportspeople at an event that began with a group photo with the Olympic flame lit 25 years ago in the Lluis Companys Olympic Stadium of Montjuïc.
The event, which was attended by over 300 people, including Olympic medalists and executives of the Prisa Group, consisted in an institutional ceremony and a gala dinner, which was held at the National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC), an emblematic venue congregating near on 190 Olympic athletes for the first time.
Eventisimo was the company commissioned to handle the production and staging of the event which, in a clear allusion to the ’92 Olympic Games, featured a number of semicircular structures with LEDs which changed colour to simulate the Olympic rings, and grandstand lighting, creating a surround effect with a play of lights forming different effects.
As part of the staging, there was a 10x5m curved LED display which reinforced the circular concept of the Olympic Games and its rings.
Eventisimo only had one hour to decorate the hall and the façade of the MNAC, for which reason the firm required a large team of staff. Likewise, the firm also handled the technical secretariat and intervened in transfer logistics.
