The awards ceremony took place at the Municipal Congress Centre of Madrid on 24 October.
The communication and event agency Eventisimo handled the stage design, theming, corporate image, and technical and artistic production of the 15th edition of the Eficacia en Comunicación Comercial (Efficiency in Business Communication) Awards ceremony. These awards are given on an annual basis by the Spanish Association of Advertisers to the best ad campaigns in Spain.
The event’s slogan, devised by Eventisimo, was "ALIGNED. Brands and People," a concept that was reflected in a spectacular stage design, whose elements – including a large central screen, the presenter’s lectern, the table with the awards and the tiered seating for the award winners and the people presenting them – where outlined using RGB LED lights.
The Municipal Congress Centre’s lobby was also themed and decorated with the corporate image of the event. The illuminated outline of the stage design was emulated by a vinyl line affixed to the floor of the lobby, which connected two giant LED screens featuring a city skyline and the logos of the different brands participating in the awards ceremony.
After the ceremony, the attendees were treated to a cocktail at a venue, designed by Eventisimo, combining an exhibition area for the sponsors and another area given over to the activities comprising the evening’s entertainment programme.
This edition of the ceremony included 32 awards, such as those given to the best agencies, creative staff and media. The top award was picked up by the Campofrio campaign "El Currículum de Todos," created by the agency McCann.
