The chain has expanded on the Costa Dorada, with the Evenia President, and in Latin America, with the Evenia Coronado.
Evenia Hotels announced in March 2015 the incorporation of two new properties in Panama and in Salou on the Costa Dorada, bringing the number of hotels in its portfolio to 14.
Evenia Hotels is a hotel company with over 40 years of experience in the industry, whose portfolio includes different types of properties: urban, holiday, winter sports and large all-inclusive resorts.

The company has a wide experience in services and properties keyed to holiday tourism. The chain’s resorts in Lloret del Mar and Roquetas del Mar are among the few properties in Spain featuring their own water parks and swimming pools with slides.
With the recent incorporation of the Evenia President, located in the centre of Salou (Tarragona), Evenia Hotels reinforces its holiday tourism strategy.
"The new hotel in Solou is a magnificent opportunity to position the chain in another of Catalonia’s key destinations, since Evenia Hotels already covers Barcelona and the Costa Brava," stated Oriol Molist, vice-president of sales at Evenia Hotels. The Evenia President has 55 rooms and is located close to Salou’s promenade.
Panama: a growing market
Panama is one of the Latin American countries that have registered a healthy economic growth during the last 10 years. This is the reason why Evenia Hotels has decided to enter this growing market with the Evenia Coronado, located in the tourist destination of the same name.
"Panama is a fast developing country, registering a sustained economic growth over the last 10 years. This growth has allowed the country to consolidate its position as an important financial hub and a world-class destination," explained Manuel Navarro, director of Evenia Hotels in Panama. "Coronado is one of the country’s new tourist destinations, an example of sustainable tourism development."
With 34 rooms, the Evenia Coronado is located in Panama, facing Coronado Beach, only an hour away from the City of Panama. The chain hopes to open new properties in Latin America. "We are currently studying the possibility of spreading to other destinations in Panama," stated Navarro.
