From 10-11 May, the Convento la Magdalena Hotel hosted a group of journalists from all over Europe. With the aim of familiarizing themselves with the region, the group spent several days travelling through Andalusia, and during their stay at the hotel a dinner and flamenco show was organized for them, which was much appreciated.
Caminos de Pasión, in collaboration with the regional tourist board Turismo Andaluz and its national counterpart Turespaña, organized a fam trip for a group of European journalists, with the aim of showcasing local attractions centring on Easter Week and other religious festivals, heritage sites, gastronomy, traditions, festivals, folklore and handicrafts.
The group of 12 journalists working for British, Irish, Belgium, Danish, Swedish and Russian media visited the 10 municipalities making up the “Route of the Passion”: Alcala la Real in Jaen; Antequera in Malaga; Baena, Lucena, Priego de Cordoba and Puente Genil in Cordova; and Ecija, Estepa, Marchena and Osuna in Seville.
